Exhibo’s unique know-how in both active and passive acoustics added to its long history and ongoing cooperation with architects that are particularly sensitive to quality and aesthetics, set the company apart when it comes to conception, engineering, simulation and turnkey realization of home cinemas & theatres, even in 4-D, featuring the most advanced audio and acoustic solutions in addition to all necessary add-ons, including projectors, video screens and seating options that can vibrate and even dance driven by the audio tracks. Audio and video as a unique entertainment system express themselves in a combination of performance, definition, refinement and hi-fidelity you have never experienced before.

Each space has its own unique natural resonance linked to its own specific geometric parameters. Engineering optimal acoustic comfort inside an environment translates into properly simulating and managing its natural response to the sound frequencies that will be produced with its intended use. This explains why bespoke engineering work is needed for each environment if excellent results are to be achieved.
The most advanced prediction software in tri-dimensional sound, the largest portfolio of loudspeakers and reactive-acoustic materials, long-lasting partnerships with major manufacturers of acoustic products make Exhibo a natural choice when the expectations are to unleash the full potential of sound and video in a perfect combination of definition, detail, space and harmony.

Dolby Atmos propels you into the story with moving audio that flows all around you with breathtaking realism.

This is because Dolby Atmos creates powerful, moving audio by introducing two important concepts to cinema sound: audio objects and overhead speakers. Together, these completely change how soundtracks are created and heard.

Traditional surround soundtracks confine all sounds to a small set of channels that can deliver sound to you from just a few perceived angles. They cannot put sound above you. Furthermore, sounds exist only as part of a channel mix. If one sound is emphasized in a traditional mix, another must be diminished.

In Dolby Atmos, on the other hand, sound can be freed from these channels. It enables artists to treat specific sounds as individual entities, called audio objects. These can be precisely placed and moved by the soundtrack creator anywhere in the cinema’s three-dimensional space — they are not confined to specific channels — though the artist can continue to use channel capabilities as desired. The Dolby Atmos cinema processor then determines which of a cinema’s huge array of front, back, side, and overhead speakers it will use to recreate this lifelike movement.

As a result, a Dolby Atmos soundtrack brings the onscreen story alive as never before. The movie’s sounds flow all around you to completely immerse you in the action, heightening the impact of the story and creating a powerfully moving cinema experience.

To really appreciate the sound emitted by systems using Dolby Atmos technology it is indispensable to control the path followed by the sound waves during their propagation so as to best direct them to their final destination, our ears.

The human ear can hear true richness of sound & voice only in the case the entire cinema hall is acoustically treated so that all sound frequencies are free from any interference produced by the infrastructure as well as from any possible phenomena resulting from uncontrolled sound impact.

The thrill of getting immersed in the scene of a film thanks to a simulation system capable of transforming the seat into a movable chair.

The seat moves in synch with the action of the film using a processor that analyses the audio tracks in real time mimicking the action of the protagonists on the screen.

D-BOX technology provides a seamless interface between the movie soundtrack and the physical seat by the means of a decoder carrying a powerful algorithm that analyses the audio frequencies and transforms them into movement that is transmitted to 2,3, or even 4 pistons located on the base of the seat.

Over 1,300 films have already been re-coded and the certainty that all new films will be shot using D-BOX technology opens up a wholly new frontier in the entertainment sector.
